Electronic artist and creative coder based in Barcelona. Bachelor of Fine Arts (UB) and Master’s Degree in Digital Arts (UPF).
My practice is situated at the intersection of art, the body and technology. Through performance, sculpture, installation and creative coding, I investigate the body in motion in the digital era and how technologies transform the way we perceive and inhabit the world.
In 2019, I founded Blinding Universe, an interdisciplinary experimental network focused on developing technologies that capture real-time bodily data, in dialogue with dance, education and accessibility. Through these processes, I seek to create experiences that encourage critical thinking, understanding artistic practice as a space of ongoing friction between the technical, the sensory and the collective.
Alongside my artistic practice, I teach in the Design Degree at ESDI (URL). Before fully dedicating myself to my artistic practice, I worked for several years in digital agencies and studios specialising in digital development. This experience continues to shape the way I approach artistic creation and technological research.
My work has been presented at festivals including Sónar+D, Eufònic, Immaterial, Tech&Play, Ex Abrupto, Ull Nu, Llum BCN, Visual Brasil and Stripart, as well as at art centres such as Arts Santa Mònica, Convent de Sant Agustí, Fabra i Coats, Casa del Mig, Espacio Cultural Serrería Belga and Fundació Iluro, among others. I have received several grants for artistic research and production, including the Catalan Government Grant for Research and Innovation in Performing Arts and the ACTS Grant from the Tabakalera International Centre for Contemporary Culture.
