Eneritz Tejada

Eneritz Tejada (Barcelona 1986)

I hold a degree in Fine Arts (UB) and a master’s in Digital Arts (UPF).

My artistic practice focuses on exploring our relationship with technology through an interdisciplinary approach that includes performance, video, sculpture, installation, and creative programming. Through these mediums, I aim to foster reflection that stimulates collective thought, addressing speculative narratives about alternative technologies and their impact on contemporary society.

At the core of my work is the human body, understood both as a receiver of stimuli and as an emitter of codifiable signals. In 2019, I founded the collective Blinding Universe, an interdisciplinary collaborative network dedicated to experimenting with body-worn electronic devices known as wearables. These developments are used in performances with dancers, children’s workshops, and as tools for people with hearing disabilities.

I have participated in festivals such as Eufònic, Tech&Play , Festival Immaterial 2024, XIII Mostra Sonora i Visual del Convent de Sant Agustí , Visual Brasil, Stripart, and Festival Llum Barcelona, among others.

I am a member of the cultural association Telenoika and have collaborated with artists Antoni Miralda and Perejaume. Additionally, I teach at the ESDI School of Design.
